These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FightYourTax.ai website and services (the "Service") operated by FightYourTax.ai ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. What We Provide

FightYourTax.ai provides property tax protest evidence packages for residential properties in Texas. We are currently serving Harris County, with plans to expand to other Texas counties. Our service analyzes publicly available data from county appraisal districts (currently the Harris County Appraisal District, or HCAD) and generates reports containing comparable property analyses, equity arguments, and supporting documentation intended to assist homeowners in protesting their property tax valuations.

2. What We Do Not Provide

Our service is an informational and analytical tool. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. We are not a licensed appraisal firm and our reports do not constitute formal property appraisals. We do not file protests on your behalf, represent you at hearings, or guarantee any specific outcome. You are responsible for filing your own protest and presenting your own case.

3. Data Sources and Accuracy

Our analysis is based on publicly available data from HCAD and other public sources. While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we do not warrant that the data is error-free, complete, or current. HCAD data is updated periodically by Harris County and may contain inaccuracies. You should verify all information in your evidence package before presenting it at a hearing.

4. Purchases and Payment

Evidence packages are available for a one-time fee as displayed on our website at the time of purchase. All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card information. All sales are final once your evidence package has been delivered. If we are unable to generate a report for your property, you will receive a full refund.

5. Delivery

Evidence packages are delivered electronically to the email address you provide at the time of purchase. We aim to deliver reports within 24 to 48 hours of purchase, though delivery times may vary during peak periods (typically March through May). You are responsible for providing a valid email address.

6. Your Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose — preparing evidence for your own property tax protest. You may not:

• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the reports or data we provide
• Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or extract data from our website
• Attempt to access our systems, databases, or servers in any unauthorized manner
• Misrepresent the reports as official appraisals, legal opinions, or government documents

7. Intellectual Property

The reports we generate for you are yours to use for your property tax protest. However, our analysis engine, website design, software code, and proprietary methods remain our intellectual property. Purchasing a report does not grant you any rights to our underlying technology.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FightYourTax.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific report in question. We make no guarantees about the outcome of your property tax protest.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific result will be achieved through the use of our reports.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Harris County, Texas.
